Comments left:	In North Carolina in he late 70's as Gary Harris is referring to, Rondo was distributed by Pepsi distributors I believe...during one summer, Rondo held a contest in North Carolina sponsored by the Pepsi Distributors and held at different locations throughout the state. The contest involved Slamming down a Rondo as fast as you could with each contestant being timed. Winners at each location won some Rondo swag, including a pair of awesome Rondo Leather cowboy boots. Winners also advanced to the old North Hills Mall in Raleigh to compete for a new Wrangler CJ7 Jeep tricked out with Rondo logos and such. The state contest was held on the top parking deck of North Hills. I was one of those winners that went to Raleigh, but came up short on the Jeep....as I recall a fellow from the Western part of the state won the jeep.....I continued to drink Rondo until it was discontinued....great drink, especially in the summer.
