I remember the big single ring ding too. Loved them and the Creme cups. What nobody has talked about was the little packs of cookies that Drake's usesd to sell too. I believe they made choc chip, peanut butter and my absolute favorite coconut! We would buy a pack of 4 to take on our class trips instead of a devil dog because they didn't melt. I grew up in NJ where they had a bakery in Irvington. Drake's are still a favorite bought cake....McKees is supposed to be a part of the original family. Miss the golden doodles too.
