Just revisiting this page after many years and am interested to learn that this page has garnered so much attention, including from people who wore Red Snaps in Colorado, Kansas, and Arizona, meaning they weren't only available in DFW. It could be that they were available in many places (I mean, Army-Navy stores had to have been everywhere) but only super-popular in the Dallas area. I notice no one has piped up about them being worn in Houston or San Antonio. Also, I think if they were made today, they would make them in fabric way too thin, like everything these days.
