I purchased multiple colors in Colorado from Lerners. They were the lowest rise, two snaps. I wore mine with a wide leather belt. Some had burnt carvings. No prongs, just a strap that slid in one side, out the other. Yes, Body suits! They were perfect in the winter, and halter tops in summer. With either, we were on display. Oh man, our poor fathers. Knowing how guys think, they did not enjoy these. Moms purchased in part to live vicariously, lol. High rise DITTOS began making the scene in late 70s. They had the saddle back like seem, and came in multiple colors too. Girls, remember sizzlers? So short you had to wear matching flash pants with! Smock tops, later, goucho (looking back, ugly things, lol). Wore with high leather boots not to be mistaken for hiking boots, also immensely popular, at least in my neck of the woods. Leather hair bands with a stick running through middle. Black nail polish, dangly earrings, peace sign patches and peechees (sp?). Good to hear other's memories! Take care, y'all..Peace man...Far out...you have a great P.A. (personality)
