Another Dallas gal here... from Garland, shopped at the Army Navy store on Garland Road and then went to Shakey's and Carousel Raceway. Or maybe LLove for skating and other fun. Those were the days. I did find a stockpile of my first keychain on eBay. My ex-husband kept my original, which has been in constant use since the 70's. I had many colors of Red Snaps, mostly the brushed finish. Remember the window pane denim bell bottoms? I am trying to find/remember the name of the overalls they sold at the Army Navy store in all the bright colors. I had every color and would wear them with tube tops or bikinis. I even had one pair that I wore topless to Mother Blues and the Texas Tea House. We were so lucky to grow up in those years. Have you seen Dazed and Confused. Gah, that is SO Garland!
