From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, a rare TV commercial in which Quisp, Quake (in cowboy-superhero outfit) and Cap'n Crunch (and crew) appear together, offering free Matchbox toy vehicles. One Matchbox was 60 cents back then. To get a "free" one, you had to send in three proof-of-purchase stamps from Life cereal or the others mentioned, making you spend $1.20 or more on cereal. This aired on a "Flintstones" rerun over NBC (10/11/69). Also, an early Quisp-Quake (as miner) commercial taking place amidst a football game. Both are on the same team, but compete to carry the ball and score the winning touchdown. This aired on "King Kong" over ABC (10/15/66).
