From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, a bad guy resembling Snidely Whiplash wants to mine for gold by using dynamite, threatening a small town below with avalanche. Quake diverts the falling rocks away from the town and captures the evildoer. Quake promotes a mail-in offer for a plastic safety helmet with battery-powered flashlight. This aired during the "Beatles" cartoon show on ABC (1/22/66). Other commercials include Moon McDare (astronaut) action figure and accessory kits by Gilbert. Also, 3 Musketeers candy bar, M&M's and Cap'n Crunch. Network promos for "Casper" cartoon show, "Magilla Gorilla" and "Bugs Bunny Show." A hilarious cartoon on the show, "Thank You, Girl." Being stuck in a Paris hotel room with no money, the hungry Beatles sneak out, go to a restaurant and pretend to be novice cooks to get free food. They each try to serenade a young woman who works in the kitchen. The 1964 song included.
