In 1970, Quake Cereal had a mail-in premium with an educational twist. The offer was of Quake's Rock Collection, with materials provided by Scott Scientific. Inside a blue box (Quake pictured as cowboy-superhero) were sample specimens of odd rocks, instructions and a sheet where kids had to glue the rocks (mucilage glue worked best) to the corresponding picture. Cost was a dollar and two box tops (Quake or Quisp). This taught Geology, rock identification. eBay has an unused set for $125.
