From the prime time TV vault, an Aztec soldier orders two boys to pour raw rice into a volcano. Seconds later, it erupts, and honey flavored rice (Puffa Puffa) bursts out. The soldier shares a box with a Hawaiian boy, in coconut shell bowls. This aired during "Monkees" pn NBC (4/3/67). Kellogg's Pop Tarts, Frosted Flakes and Raisin Bran on the show, along with Yardley eye shadow and eyelash enhancer. Network promo for "Captain Nice." Julie Newmar discarded her Catwoman costume to appear in this episode. She played April, owner of a laundromat whom all four Monkees vie for her affection. Fickle April plays them on with disastrous results. In each of the 57 regular stories, the kooky Monkees always find themselves interacting with the "other people" who turn out weirder than themselves. A great series, but more than the two seasons would've been stretching things, especially with Peter Tork out of the group.
