I remember drinking a Pomac at a local Exxon gas station in Houston TX around 1965. I was told it was being test marketed by Coca-Cola in the Houston area. I was told it was made from white grape juice and carbonated water. I was 14 and thought it tasted like sweet wine or champagne. That was neat back then. That was the only bottle I ever saw of Pomac. I guess the taste test failed in the Houston area. I understood the cost to make it was higher than that of other sodas like Coke and Sprite. Maybe it will make a come back since people are now looking for drinks with less processed sugar and more natural tastes
