This popped into my mind the other day for some reason. I'm 53 and I was asking my co-workers if they rembered the drink called Pomac. Nobody in my age group remembered it. I remember it was light colored, sort of like the color or Miller High Life beer, and it came in a clear or amber bottle, and it was rumored by the older kids to taste like beer or wine, and even some suggestions that it might have had some alcohol in it, which I'm sure was probably all urban myth but it made it very appealing, mysterious, forbidden (and therefore very desirable to teens and pre-teens)even though it tasted like (S#@t). The taste is probably what killed it.
