A note about a TV commercial for Pink Panther cereal, which first aired in December of 1971, with The Inspector and Sgt. Deux Deux chasing the Panther for stealing his own cereal. Inspector gets clobbered by a fence board, Deux Deux gets the cereal, Panther escapes. Paul Frees voiced the Inspector, Mel Blanc voiced Deux Deux (the Spaniard who struggled to learn French working as a Paris cop, but was more competent than Inspector).
