Found an image of a Strawberry Short Kook hand puppet, a premium from roughly 1975. National Pax, based in California, owned several plants, one near Chicago, which produced Otter Pops. The Jel Sert Company bought the rights to Otter Pops 19 years ago. The few original TV commercials only aired on local or syndicated programs, National Pax apparently had no deep pockets to advertise on network television.
