Where I worked, you couldn't go out and buy lunch. I would buy a box of these Oh Boy Sub Sandwiches, leave them wrapped in foil, on either the dashboard or back ledge of the car (when they had back ledges,) and by time lunch came, the sun would have heated these enough so that the cheese had melted. If it were particularly cold, I open the hood, set them on the top of the intake manifold, and let the engine run until it warmed up. That would be enough to finish defrosting the sandwiches, and melt the cheese. They were cheap, substantial, and well worth the money. I cannot imagine why some frozen food company hasn't paid attention to these posts, and duplicated this product. It would be a great seller. I'd still buy them today.
