I used to play in 8 to 10 iece disco Funk bands in the mid 70's..I was the drummer..we played 6 to 7 nites a week back then..and Nik Nik was the shirt of choice..I remember 1 night..mine was starting to fade..and the trumpet player said..you gotta hand wash em..no machine washing..man..he was right.. Later in the 80's..I met the son of the owner of the Nik Nik company..we became friends..he said Nik Nik fell on hard times..and went out of business..after the disco era.. Those were the days..Nik nik designs..sure brings back nice memories..of a bygone world..and time..
