i lived on the upper east side of NYC in 1975-1976. My friends and I frequented Adams Apple (1st ave and 60th) Maxwell's Plum, Mr. Laffs, Yesterday's (GREAT small disco)77th and 2nd)and sometimes up to 86th to go to Wednesday's, and if we could get in the Blue parrot. I owned at least 4 Nik-Nik shirts, a roomate worked in the garment dist, and we bought them for $30, now in 1975 I made $155 a week, before taxes. I loved the ice blue with the ice cream cone, I had a burgundy one with horse racing, a cream with Icart type graphic of woman walking Irish wolfhound, a few I cant remember now, I dont know what happened to them! They are going for $100-250 Yikes!
