well, brought up in mom and pop store and can tell you that those small snap cookies also came in lemon also ginger. In those days they made a lesser priced cookie break sandwich that we broke the sleeves open and sold fro a penny apiece. the vanilla cookie break were very close to the discontinued baronet which was probably their best vanilla sandwich ever. the new coconut oreo is a decent replacement. Why did they stop the Swiss also except vending style. The Dare Co.'s coconut creme is about addicting as it getsalthough the creme is a knockout the cookies a bit thick. Geez the days of Orbit cremes and the dark dark chocolate grahams. What is Nabisco thinking. The baronet got discontinued so early you could only get 3 in the famous cookie asst. that looked like a monopoly box. there were also a mayfair asstment that an english fling and a pride that were all sandwich asst.Social tea made a creme for awhile. Back then the "Snaps you folks were talking about had a 15 cent prepriced tab on them.
