Nabisco Chocolate Chip Cookies in the smaller box which sold for twenty cents. The oddity of this is: Why Nabisco did a self-compete against its own (more popular) Chips Ahoy? These did taste a bit different, were textured differently, and had fewer chips that Chips Ahoy. I recall seeing these between 1975 and 1980, then Nabisco moved on to new products. For cookie buffs, I don't have any TV commercials for the 1970s Chocolate Chip small boxes. However, I have an early Chips Ahoy ad, featuring Cookie Man fighting a weird sea monster, from an episode of the "Road Runner" cartoon show (1/14/67, CBS). Charles should have a Chips Ahoy page here.
