I loved the butter cookies!!! My sister and I (both in our 50's) talk about them all the time. I finally realized I could search to see if they were still making them, only to find this discussion. It's funny how a cookie could bring back so many warm memories. I think everyone of us remembers sticking the cookie on our finger and biting off the edges first...such a simple thing that connects so many of us. Sad to say, nothing will ever compare :(
