in the 70s, Food of the Seventies

Comments left:	Actually, I worked in the food plant in Lake City, PA where Mrs. Goodcookies were made and that is all I did there. (Sugar, chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin.) In fact, I ended up running the "extruding" machine that made the final 6x6 sets of cookie dough cookie sheets, each on its own set of wax paper (due to vertical and horizontal cutters) and then frozen in individual boxes. The company was Ore-Ida (famous for frozen french fries etc.), then a subsidiary of H.J. Heinz and in a plant that also made Rich's creme pies (but all I ever made was Mrs. Goodcookies). I did this from Sep 1977 to January 1980. There is some kind of Mrs. Goodcookie made now by J&J Snack Foods, not sure if it is the same thing or not. Haven't seen them in grocery stores for years.
