I'm old enough to still have an original Mrs. Beasley doll that I had begged and begged for. Took her everywhere with me. Sadly, after we went swimming in the ocean my mother had to hang her body parts out to dry on the clothes line. My doll doesn't talk, has a different body, is missing hair, lost two pairs of glasses and had her head sewn on numberous times. Mother surprised me with yet another Mrs. Beasley when I was 12. Don't feel the same about that 2nd doll. A friend surprised me recently with a 3rd Mrs. Beasley that talks (Cheryl Ladd). Still love my original best of all. OH, Mrs. Beasley #1 is currently sleeps on my bed. I'm looking to sell the other two dolls.
