I had a Mrs. Beasley doll when I was 10. When we went overseas to visit family, I took her with me. My aunt loved the doll so much she wanted to buy it for my cousin, since they didn´t have Mrs. Beasley there. So my mother convinced me to sell it and that I would get another one when we returned home. Well, eventually we did go out to buy another one, but when I saw another Mrs. Beasley, I refused to buy her. She wasn´t my Mrs. Beasley. Parents think kids can´t tell the difference between exact alike dolls, but they can. So I never got another one. Today I am 57 and once in a while I will bring up this story up just to tease my mother about selling my best friend. :)
