I had a Mrs. Beasley and LOATHED her with a passion. Sorry one of you didn't live near me to take _that face_ away! Besides the face, that limp dish-rag body was like it was dead. WHY would I haul around a dead baby(doll)? I eventually had to 'lose' her or she'd still be at my mother's. Some Xmas, I didn't get the normal modern plastic doll I wanted, I think one you fed & it ran thru the doll so you had to change diapers. Because that makes SO much more sense than a limp, dead babydoll (facepalm). My way, way too senile-crazy-psychotically religious Great Grandmother got it for me because it was 'wholesome.' Fortunately, eventually I was saved from her wholesome world -- spending summers with her at 8 got old fast when she repeated every day the only time she and her husband had relations was when he got drunk and became violently forceful. So last thing I needed was a reminder and ANOTHER older great great aunt to telo me what to do, there were already too many. I'm pretty sure that in the Ed and Loraine Warren possession tale/movie, the doll wasn't Annabelle, it was Mrs. Beasley and THAT FACE!
