I had a Mrs Beasley doll in the early 70's (I can't remember exactly how old I was when I received her but I was small enough to fit inside the box she came in. By the time I was 8, the doll creeped me out so badly that I had to keep her in the garage. But then I worried that she would be mad at me for keeping her there and would murder me in my sleep. To avoid being slaughtered, I would periodically go out to the garage and apologize to her. Crazy, I know.
