Thank goodness for Krispy Kreme since the fabulous Morton's Doughnuts are just a memory now. The glazed ones were spectacular, and my mom always made sure we had some in the freezer. I'd pop one in the oven and by the time I was ready to leave for school, it'd be ready: slightly chewy, soft, warm and fluffy with just the right amount of glaze. It really did melt in your mouth. That and a glass of milk even made sixth grade bearable. Mmmm!
