mood rings oringinally were made in the 60's but they werent popular until 1975, it was the craze of all fashion, it was a ring that changed colors and came with a slip of paper explaning what the colors meant according to the mood or emotional state you were in. my first mood ring was when i was 15 in 8th grade. i always wore it. and every time my mood changed the color changed and if i was in the same mood all day it would stay that color until my mood changed. now the real ones are hard to find, and they are making the cheap knock offs of the orignal ring in different sizes and shapes, you can find them in your clare's store or dollar store orignally the real ones you can look on ebay, that's where i usually go to find the real thing. I love to collect mood rings from the 70's they are really cool to me. its always been a great memory for me since i had my first one. now i usually give them away as gifts. When i was mad one day at work, my mood ring stayed black then half of the day it was bluish green, and then when i touched my patnres hand and smiled, my ring turned dark blue because i was happy. they are a cool nostalgic item to collect.
