I used to pick up pop cans and bottles along my paper route in the late 70's and would cash them in for the deposit at the little store at the end of my route. Every penny went toward buying Milkshake Candy Bars! I would polish off all of them before I got home (and then wonder why I had issues with hypoclycemia as a kid! Lol) I found them briefly as a special issue in the mid 90's but never since. There is a large candy store near my house that is keeping an eye out for them for me. The have a whole section of vintage candy bars. The owner is too young to remember them but is looking nonetheless. I am convinced that my nieces and nephew's childhoods will not be complete until they have had a chance to eat one of these!
