My dad ran a beach concession every summer on Cape Cod in Falmouth MA. One of the absolute best sellers was the Milkshake candy bars, frozen of course and with the stick that had the the name on it. I remember helping sometime, putting the sticks in the candy bar to get them ready to be frozen. The maker just gave us the sticks with the name on it, I think they came in each box. The company promoted the "frozen" milk shake that's for sure. I did read somewhere that Hollywood Candy sold off its candy bar recipes to a major candy company. So the rights to it are still out there they just choose not to make them. The last one I got was in 1995 or 1996. There was only one small store in Hyannis MA that I could find them at. The wrapper at that point had pink lettering as opposed to the green lettering most would remember. It did taste just as good and I did freeze a few. Someone needs to convey to the new owners that they need to make them again, even if it where a limited run. Vince
