I remember having a McFeast when our family made a pit stop in Bakersfield on our way to vacation in Southern California around 1977-78. I was a kid at the time and I clearly remember that I dubbed it the "McMess" because of all the condiments and juices that fell out of it; not a pleasant experience. It was a larger burger than the Big Mac. Now that I look back on it, it seems like McDonald's was testing out their version of the Whopper to compete with Burger King. It seems the McFeast has found a home at McD's in Australia (See the website "lifehacker" and the article: "The McDonald's McFeast Burger: Back From The Dead")
