Mallo Cups were introduced by Boyer Bros. in 1947. Since 1970, these delicious treats have been sold by different parent companies, while maintaining the Boyer brand. Oddly, no vintage TV commercials. However, Mallo Cups (through promotional consideration) were given as prizes on different game shows. Most notably, the syndicated "Beat the Clock, hosted by Jack Narz (1971), and his replacement, Gene Wood (1972). This version of the show was produced in Montreal (to skirt the higher production costs in Hollywood, which prompted Narz to quit in 1972, due to travel-related expenses). Cartoon boy promotes the candy. "I want my Mallo Cup!"
