The site has no pages for Chex Cereals, so I'm using this page, since the cereals compete. From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, an animated TV commercial featuring a threesome of kids known as The Chexmates. In the group, a brawny teen boy, Chexter, a younger cowgirl, Lisa (with a lasso), and a (stereotyped Japanese) young boy karate expert. In a zoo, the group encounters a gorilla who gets loose, grabs people and puts them in its cage. The little karate boy subdues the ape with a chop to the head. Slogan: Chex Cereal Gives Action Power! This aired on "Super President/Spy Shadow" over NBC (4/20/68).
