A Libby pull-string doll was recently auctioned for $75 on eBay. Doll was in perfect shape. Clean, hair, ribbons and shoe laces tight. Appears to have never been played with. Came with original plastic bag and mailing shipper, postmarked Dec. 3, 1975 (about the time promotion ended). The ONLY problem...her talk device didn't work, possibly from age alone. The Libby was a rag doll, not sturdy like a Barbie. The talk device is embedded in foam padding, in the stomach area. Very difficult to undo and re-sew the diaper in order to repair talk device, plus deal with the pull ring.
