LIBBY PIZZA SAUCE had a unique zest that wasn't drowned out with spice. I recently bought a Libby Girl talking doll at an antique store. In 1974 and 1975, Mattel Toys manufactured these promotional dolls. The doll has yellow yarn hair, a cartoon-like face, red shirt with LIBBYS LIBBYS LIBBYS on the chest, and white skirt and shoes. You had to send Libbys like 20 labels or proof of purchases, or ten dollars to get a doll. The talk box on mine doesn't work. This Libby girl was a cartoon mascot in TV ads during that time. LIBBY PIZZA sauce was one of the items you could buy toward getting a Libby talking doll.
