My story is earlier but much the same as other posters. My Carolina family didn't buy lemon thins, but as a child in the 50s & 60s I'd occasionally find myself at parties where lemon thins were served. They struck me as exquisite, a token of a finer life. As a grown-up in the 80s I realized I could buy them for myself, but then alas moved to Texas where no one seems to have heard of them (despite one Texas poster's memory). Yes to Nabisco as their national marketer. Great with tea.
