From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, two more Kool Aid TV commercials. First, with the Monkees (what was left of them, Micky and Davy), aired on the "Archie Comedy Hour" over CBS (3/21/70). Second, a scratchy black & whiter with Bugs Bunny and Elmer, who fails miserably at keeping the Wascally Wabbit out of his house and away from his Pre-Sweetened Kool Aid (Bugs on packet). Commercial also introduces Kool Pops frozen treats, with a cartoon owl pitching it. This aired on the "Bugs Bunny Show" (9/18/65, ABC). Episode included network cartoon promos, Mattel ads, plus an Ad Council PSA for Zip Codes (Postal Service) with Mr. Zip pictured. When ABC reran the series on Saturdays, episodes were decimated to jam in more commercials.
