From the prime time TV vault, a Corn Flakes commercial with Jimmy Durante in a Buster Brown outfit. As a crane lifts him, his pants come off, showing long, puffy underwear. This aired on "Monkees" over NBC (1/15/68). Also, a Pop Tarts spot featuring a New York pushcart man (cart has different fruit, used to make filling). Primary sponsor was Yardley Cosmetics, including perfume endorsed by half-starved Twiggy. Episode featured Pat Paulsen, who anchored a report of an alien invasion (Micky is taken away, replaced by a robot double). Mike Nesmith is absent, except in a cameo. Paulsen's remarks compare robots to teens of the late sixties.
