From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, TV commercial for Corn Flakes with a mail-in offer for Mini-Lindy (Lindberg Model Co.) vehicles, which could be assembled without glue. For 50 cents and one box top, you got two different kits. This aired on "Space Ghost" over CBS (4/22/67). After voicing the buffoonish superhero, Roger Ramjet, Gary Owens moved on to a more serious role, that of Space Ghost. Owens did not voice the 1990s Cartoon Network version ("Coast to Coast"), in which Space Ghost hosted a talk show, with his prisoner/co-host Zorack and the Wolf-like enemy. A couple notes on Lindberg, founded in 1933. This company was a low-budget rival to Hawk, AMT, Revell and the other modelers. Lindberg still exists today, under new ownership.
