A shout out to John Romain and his sons Thomas & Marco. I recently learned about John Romain's bags from 60's & 70's. The designs, quality (leather insides) are timeless and still relevant today. I am starting this vintage purse collection anew now. Hope it is not too late. If Thomas or Marco is reading this comment, I wonder if you can shed some light on whether there is any old designs catalogues or documentation on John Romain and his designs that I can search for? I love to learn more about John Romain, his design philosophy and process? Where was the leather, tweed, straw, rattan of purses from and who are the craftsmen/women that made these quality works of art?
