The Nestle $100,000 (later 100 Grand) was introduced in 1965. Packed with crispy rice and caramel, is a great candy bar. From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, two early TV commercials. First, a stop-motion cartoon with Little Hans, the Swiss spokesman for $100,000 Bar (voiced by Paul Frees). This aired on the "pink Panther" cartoon show over NBC (10/18/69). Second, for Nestle Crunch with Little Hans (a real boy interacts with the cartoon), in which Hans tears off and eats a piece of his house (made of chocolate). This aired on the "Road Runner" cartoon show over CBS (2/17/68). Along with the name change (1978), the only other major change was the wrapper design (1972, to red with guy's head on left end).
