Comments left:	I was working in a convenience store when the fruit flavoured chips came out. They definitely were disgusting! Nearly every bag we sold was either dumped in the garbage can outside or returned to us in exchange for a bag of one of Hostess' regular flavoured chips (our sales representative took back all the returns and credited us for them - thank goodness, otherwise we would have had riots on our hands, particularly from the adults who bought them). Luckily the 'experiment gone wrong' didn't last very long. No one I talk to remembers them - but I sure do! Producing those chips will probably go down in history as the worst marketing blunder of all times.
