Another variant comic book ad by Hostess. Some issues had Fruit Pies, others Cup Cakes. Batman and Robin use these treats to trap a fur thief, Sable Lady aka Mink Marauder. Found the Cup Cake variant in the tenth and final issue of "Welcome Back, Kotter" comics from DC (3/78). In the main story, Woodman is one of several vying to be vice-principal of the year. The normally-nasty nimrod sucks up to everyone, including Kotter and the Sweat Hogs. When the gang finds out Woodman's ulterior motive, they sabotage his chance at getting the award. Kotter's uncle is head judge on the committee. Within the story, Kotter is home alone. He tells a joke to a picture of wife Julie, who was away on a trip. A decent comic book series which went beyond the limitations of the TV show, but without following certain events, such as the Kotters having twins.
