While in College, during the late 1950's-early 1960's, I worked summers and during the pre-Christmas holiday rush in the soda industry. During one stint I worked in the Hoffman bottling plant in Long Island City and was amazed by the plant quality and the fact that the soda was, unlike other brands, bottled hot. It was truly "the" quality brand. Also, yes Hoffman sponsored Ed Herlihy's Children's Hour on Sunday Morning in the 1950's. My two cousins had the honor of appearing on that show and the recording of it includes the Hoffman jingle.
