I have the most adorable story. When I was 4 or 5, which would have been about 1965 or so, I got a bug up my tail end to hide my sister's school books. Don't ask me why --- like I said, I was only 4. The whole house was in a tizzy and my mother was on the edge of exasperation. She told my sister that she could hide anything of mine so that I could experience what it felt like to have something of mine hidden. Being the incredibly bright person that I am, I immediately said to her, "You can hide anything except my Heidi doll... I love her!". So of course that's the first thing my sister went for. This was 45 years ago and guess what I found under my Christmas tree this year???? A Heidi doll! With a tag on it that said, "A debt long overdue".... where would we be without sisters??
