I love Heydays too. I look for them everywhere I go even internationally. I keep thinking I will see them somewhere even if they are called something else, but no luck. I have been looking for years. The last place I saw them was in Fargo, North Dakota. I lived near the Keebler distributor and they were originally made by Keebler because I remember calling Keebler when I couldn't find them anymore. After many years I called Keebler again to see if they would make them again. I was told that the recipe was sold to Nabisco. I have never seen them since with a Nabisco label. I have called Nabisco and they said there are no plans to make them again... My belief is that no cookie manufacturer wants to deal with the peanut allergy thing on their production line. To costly to sanitize after ever batch and too costly to have one plant just for peanut products... Just my thoughts... But please bring back. They were great...
