My mother made these beans on snowy days with nice hot rolls. But she cooked them in a pressure cooker on top of the stove.She made them more of a bean soup that was thick and yummy.I found the box once in the early 70's and made them and they were just as I remembered them.I could say I wish they would bring them back,but knowing progress,they would probably not make the dried beans the same and I would be disappointed.I will try Michaels'recipe and wish me luck!
