I grew up in NJ (camden county), and my mother made Hallmark Beans for dinner at least once a month. The first time I tasted the junk in cans I realized that American food manufacturers will try to screw everybody. I now make my own beans the old fashioned way in a cast iron pot in the over. Tried using a slow cooker, but the results was better than can but lousy compared to cast iron in the oven. Would love to buy 10 cases of "Hallmark Beans"!!
