I worked at Guy's in the late '90's until they closed the doors for good. An awful lot of great people there that worked hard to keep the doors open, despite what management was doing. I ended up working for the bank to liquidate the facility...so very sad. Jimmy Caldwell (Guy's nephew) was still there, he had worked there for over 40 years. I remember going into the plant to ge fresh chips off the line. My dream spot was to get a recliner, cooler of beer and just sit at the end of the pretzel line ! Now, Guy's chips are co-packed in Illinois and shipped to St Louis and KC to be sold. The name has value !!
