I always wanted a Gunne Sax dress but my Mom refused to buy me one for prom or anything else. She made my prom dresses and they were usually quite sophisticated things like a long chocolate brown velvet halter-dress or a slinky black knit shot through with silver turtleneck with the cut out sleeves. The dresses were really pretty hot but all I wanted was a sweet innocent Gunne Sax!
