From the prime time TV vault, the first dance party commercial for Great Shakes, with male vocalists doing the jingle and mainly high school kids dancing and sipping. This aired during the "Smothers Brothers Show" on CBS (10/15/65). Sanka and Maxwell House coffees and Alberto VO5 shampoo among sponsors. Network promo for "Trials of O'Brien" with Peter Falk. Not the controversial "S.B. Comedy Hour," but the black & white sitcom. Tom Smothers played himself as an apprentice angel (after drowning while serving in the navy). Dick Smothers played himself as a junior executive within a magazine publishing company. While trying to do good deeds for Dick, Tom usually got him fired or jailed. Series was 32 episodes in a single season.
