Shortly after Great Shakes first made the scene, Borden responded with Frosted Shake. Initially sold in packets similar to Kool Aid (dime apiece), it was later sold in ready-to-drink (after chilling) cans. Months later, Borden also introduced Milk Shake In a Can. From the daytime TV vault, a Frosted Shake commercial. Three kids sit quietly and sing. When the Frosted Shake logo appears. they get up and start dancing rock n roll style. Sold in chocolate, banana, vanilla and strawberry. This aired on "Where the Action Is" over ABC (8/18/65). Episode includes a Mexican-style rave-up with the Action Dancers and Linda Scott with Paul Revere & Raiders. Welch's, Gillette and General Mills also sponsored. Network promo for "McHale's Navy' (season four teaser).
